On May 15th, 2018 we had a positive meeting with Mr. Kwan Atlas, Constituent Advocate in Senator Michael Bennet’s Denver office. We explained about the impact of ME on the tens of thousands of Coloradoans affected by this illness and asked that Senator Bennet support Senate Resolution 508* and hopefully encourage Senator Gardner to do so as well.
We will continue to follow up with members of both senators’ staffs until we get their commitment to support this resolution.

The deadline to pass this resolution is December 31st of this year. Let’s all work to get all one hundred senators to support it! Ask your friends in other states to call or write their senators too. It seems like a lot of time, but with midterm elections this year it will take a lot of perseverance to get the attention of our senators.
