ME is Mylagic Encephalomyelitis. It used to be known as and is sometimes referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or ME/CFS. It is a devastating multi-system disease that causes dysfunction of the neurological, immune, endocrine and energy metabolism systems.
There is no known cause and no known cure and a desperate need for funding for research and treatment.
